MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Central Missouri track & field teams tallied eight NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks on the final day of competition at the Northwest Bearcat Invite Saturday, Feb. 4, inside Hughes Fieldhouse.
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to return to action Feb. 10-11 at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Antonio Lay won the men's 200m dash with a provisional time of 21.43. He also captured the 60m dash title, posting a provisional mark of 6.78.
- Claire Luallen placed third in the women's 60m hurdles with a personal-best and provisional time of 8.64.
Jumps
- The Jennies finished 1-3 in the women's triple jump. Kayla Goodwin took first with a provisional jump of 12.40m (40-08.25) while Maggie Klover was third with a mark of 11.21m (36-09.50).
Throws
- Rachael Molloy won the women's weight throw with a provisional mark of 18.02m (59-01.50).
- Addison Snowball captured the men's weight throw crown with a provisional throw of 18.04m (59-02.25).
Relays
- The Mules and Jennies 4x400m relay teams both posted provisional times. The Jennies' team of Hope Thiel, Kayla Goodwin, Jana Shawver and Brooklynn Holtman posted a provisional time of 3:49.21 to finish third while the Mules' team of Ethan Brickman, Isaak Rasche, Kye Mason and Michael James compiled a provisional time of 3:16.76 to place fifth.
Pole Vault
- Molly Greene won the women's pole vault, clearing a mark of 3.53m (11-07.00).
Distance
- Brian Mitei ran a personal-best 8:27.60 to finish runner-up in the men's 5,000m run.
