INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 21 Central Missouri volleyball (19-7, 16-2) is ranked fifth in the most recent NCAA D-II Central Regional Rankings that were released Wednesday, Nov. 8.
UCM is one of three teams from the MIAA to be ranked in the top 10 in the region along with Nebraska-Kearney (fourth) and Central Oklahoma (sixth).
Atop the regional rankings is Wayne State (Neb.), followed by Concordia-St. Paul, and Southwest Minnesota State. Rounding out the list is Minnesota Duluth (seventh), St. Cloud State (eighth), Winona State (ninth), and Northern State (10th).
The top eight teams in the final regional rankings released on Monday, Nov. 20, will qualify for the NCAA D-II women's volleyball tournament.
The Jens return to the court on Friday, Nov. 10, as they host the Fort Hays State Tigers (11-16, 5-13) with first serve scheduled for 6:00 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
