GAINESVILLE, Ga. – No. 24-ranked Central Missouri Jennies golf remained tied for 13th-place after two rounds of the NCAA-II Women's Golf Championship Wednesday, May 11, at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia.
The Jennies tallied a second-round team score of 16-over par 304 for a 36-hole tally of 38-over par 614 (310-304). Central Missouri finds itself nine strokes out of the top-eight going into Thursday's final round of stroke play. The top eight teams after 54 holes will advance to the head-to-head match play round of the tournament.
Dallas Baptist sits on top of the team leaderboard at 13-over par 589 (296-293) while Lee University is second at 14-over par 590 (297-293) and Limestone University is third at 17-over par 593 (307-286), rounding out the top-three through 36 holes.
Hayley Jones and
Nicole Rallo continue to lead Central Missouri on the individual leaderboard with 36 holes elapsed. Jones is tied for 27th at 6-over par 150 (74-76) while Rallo is tied for 49th at 10-over par 154 (77-77), wrapping up the Jennies in the top-50.
Claire Solovic is tied for 55th at 11-over par 155 (80-75),
Rosie Klausner is tied for 60th at 12-over par 156 (80-76), and
Molly Saporito is tied for 75th at 14-over par 158 (79-79), concluding the UCM scoring.
Academy of Art individual Anahi Servin sits atop the individual leaderboard through two rounds at 6-under par 138 (69-69).
The Jennies are scheduled to tee off in the final round Thursday, May 12, at 8:20 a.m. CT (9:20 a.m. ET).
