Jennies Softball On the Road at Fort Hays State, Nebraska Kearney; Home to UMSL

Central Missouri Jennies softball (13-28, 6-12 MIAA) is scheduled to take to the road for a pair of MIAA doubleheaders at Fort Hays State (18-23, 4-10 MIAA) and Nebraska Kearney (19-17, 9-5 MIAA) Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16, in Hays Kan., and Kearney, Neb., before returning home to host Missouri-St. Louis (26-13, 15-5 GLVC) in a non-conference twin bill Tuesday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex.
The Jennies are coming of an MIAA doubleheader sweep of the Newman Jets Saturday, April 9, winning 6-3 and 10-2 in five innings, and a pair of losses to No. 10 Central Oklahoma Sunday, April 10, falling 6-0 and 12-2 in five innings.

Series History

Fort Hays State: The Jennies and the Tigers will meet for the 45th and 46th times in the all-time series Friday. UCM leads the series 30-14. Last season, the Jennies went 4-2 against the Tigers, winning in Warrensburg, Mo., 4-2 and 4-2.
Nebraska Kearney: UCM and Nebraska Kearney will meet for the 27th and 28th times in the all-time series Saturday. UCM leads the series 18-8. Last season, the Jennies went 2-0 against the Lopers, winning in Warrensburg, Mo., 8-0 (5 inn.) and 16-5 (5 inn.).
Missouri-St Louis: The Jennies and the Tigers will meet for the 58th and 59th times in the all-time series Tuesday. UCM leads the series 32-25. The Jennies and Tritons met earlier this season in the Washburn Invitational in Topeka, Kan., on Feb. 27, with UMSL winning, 4-0.

Head Coach Susan Anderson

Susan Anderson is in her 16th season as the head coach for the Jennies softball program. She has a record of 468-346 (.566) in her 16 seasons in Warrensburg and a career record of 648-516 (.541) in 24 seasons.
