2023: Made 18 appearances in the circle for the Jens... Finished the season with a 4-1 record with one save... Allowed 19 earned runs in 34.2 innings pitched... Pitched a season-high 6.1 innings of relief allowing two hits and striking out four in the 9-3 victory over Nebraska-Kearney (April 17)... Recorded a season-best five strikeouts against Henderson State (Feb. 19)... Earned the MIAA Academic Honor Roll award.  

2022: Appeared in 35 games making 15 in the circle for UCM... Won eight games on the year including eight complete games on a career-high 122.2 innings pitched... Ranked third in the MIAA in strikeouts looking (49), tied for fourth in strikeouts (143) and sixth in opponent batting average (.228)...  Pitched a career-high nine innings recording eight strikeouts in the 8-7 (9 inning) win over No. 10 Augustana (March 19)... Recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts while allowing only one hit in the 8-0 (5 inning) victory over Nebraska-Kearney (April 16)... Named to the MIAA Honorable Mention team... Earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll accolades for her work in the classroom. 

2021: Made 22 appearances while making nine starts in the circle for the Jens... Compiled an overall record of 6-5 including three complete games and two shut outs... Pitched a complete-game shutout allowing one hit while striking out a season-high 10 batters in the 8-0 win over Newman (March 26)... Led the MIAA conference in multiple categories including runs allowed (28), earned runs allowed (26), doubles allowed (8), triples allowed (1) and hits allowed (54)... Ranked third in the MIAA in opponent batting average (.216) and saves (2).

At JCCC: Pitched a full year in 2019 making 14 appearances and 12 starts ... Tossed 61.2 innings with a 7-2 record and 2.38 ERA ... Struck out 86 batters and 9.76 batters per seven innings ... Threw a five-inning perfect game in an 11-0 win over Illinois Central, fanning eight batters ... Before the season was canceled in 2020, made two starts in the circle pitching 10.2 innings ... Upped her strikeouts to 10.5 per seven innings and sported a 2.62 ERA. 

In High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and two-year starter at Olathe East High School with Coach Stan Spurlin ... Made the Kansas 6A All-State team as a senior and led the Sunflower League in strikeouts with 153 her senior year ... In 121 innings, posted an 11-8 record with a 2.58 ERA ... Helped the Hawks win three straight regional championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and finish runner-up in the 2018 … The 2017 squad went on to post a runner-up finish at the Kansas 6A State Tournament.

Personal: Daugher of Chris and Melisa Lay... Majoring in criminology and criminal justice while minoring in juvenile justice and child & family development.
