Taylor Thompson has been named a 2026 Third Team CSC (College Sport Communicators, formerly COSIDA) Academic All-America® member, for her accomplishments in the classroom and on the diamond for the 2025-26 season, announced on Tuesday, June 16.
After being named a Second Team Academic All-America® Designated Player in 2025, Thompson becomes just the fourth Jen in program history to earn multiple honors, alongside Jana Moberly (1988 & 89), Julie Cobb (1997, 98, 99), and Katie Shockley (2014 & 15).
The junior Occupational Safety major finished the academic year with a 3.67 GPA, leading the Jens with a MIAA best 16 homers, 54 RBI, and 107 total bases.
Thompson posted top-five offensive marks in hits (51), doubles (eight), slugging percentage (.669), and on-base percentage (.410) for good measure.
The Noblesville, Ind. native and three-time All-MIAA selection recorded 11 multi-hit ballgames this past season, while blasting the most round-trippers by a Jen in a single season since Jakki Prater (19) in 2014.
