PITTSBURG, Kan. – Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field recorded three NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks at the Pittsburg State Crimson & Gold Invitational Saturday, Dec. 10, inside the Robert W. Plaster Center.
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to return to action Jan. 20 when they host the UCM Invitational inside the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
Pole Vault
- Madi Wulfekotter finished runner-up in the women's pole vault, clearing a provisional height of 3.93m (12-10.75). Her mark is fourth-best in school history and the sixth-best in NCAA Division II this season.
Jumps
- Camryn Holloman placed fifth in the women's triple jump, posting a provisional mark of 11.81m (38-9). Her mark is 10th-best in school history and ninth-best in NCAA-II in 2022-23.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Antonio Lay finished fifth in the men's 60m dash, clocking a provisional time of 6.75. His time is tied for second-fastest in NCAA Division II this season and third-fastest in program history.
- Redshirt sophomore Brayden Blackman recorded personal bests in both the 60m hurdles and 400m dash. In the hurdles, he posted a time of 8.59, finishing 13th, before clocking a time of 50.76 in the 400, placing 20th.
Distance
- Freshman Brian Mitei won the men's 3,000m run with a personal-best time of 8:29.03. His time is seventh-fastest in school history.
- Redshirt sophomore Cooper Palmer ran a personal-best 14:49.76, placing 11th in the men's 5,000m run.
