PITTSBURG, Kan. (April 6, 2021) - Central Missouri Jennies Volleyball stepped on the court Tuesday evening in Pittsburg, Kan. looking to stop a two-game skid. The Jennies came out firing taking down the Gorillas in four, 3-1 (25-14, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20).
The Jennies won the first two sets for an early 2-0 lead. The first set came easily, 25-14. The other three sets were all decided by five points or less. The Jennies got on top 2-0 after a 25-22 set two win. Each team won the next two sets 25-20 for a 3-1 Jennies set win.
The Jennies hit .262 for the match landing 57 kills.
Kersti Nix and
Hannah Engelken each landed 13 kills.
Audrey Fisher and
Aubree Bell also were in double-figure kills.
Ally Offerdahl passed out 45 assists with nine digs.
Jackie Storm led the defensive effort with 16 digs.Â
UCM is back at home Saturday, April 10 to take on Missouri Southern with a 2 p.m. start time at the Multipurpose Building.Â
