DES MOINES, Iowa (April 22, 2021) - At the famous Drake Relays, Central Missouri sent distance runner Cynthia Togom to compete on night one.

Togom raced the 5,000m and set a season-best running 17:01.72. Togom was racing against mostly Division I competition and finished 15 overall. Her time is an NCAA Division II provisional qualifier.

Togom is the only UCM athlete competing at the Drake Relays this year. The rest of the team will be in Pittsburg, Kan. for the Pittsburg State Tune-Up Saturday, April 24.
