WARRENSBURG, Mo. (March 13, 2021) - Central Missouri Jennies Volleyball suffered their first loss of the spring season falling in four sets to Washburn.

All four sets were decided by five points or less and two of the four were within two points.

Washburn got the early lead taking set one 25-25. The Jennies came back to tie with a 25-23 win in set two. Washburn regained the advantage winning set three 25-20, the largest margin in the match.

The Jennies were on the verge of tying the match at two sets apiece, leading the fourth set 24-22, but Washburn scored the final four points to end the match 26-24 and three sets to one. 

UCM is back in action at the Multipurpose Building Friday, March 19 at 6 p.m. against Central Oklahoma.
