AUSTIN, Texas – University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball redshirt senior middle blocker
Audrey Fisher was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team for District 7 for the second consecutive season. The team is voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Fisher, the 2021 MIAA Player of the Year, has a 3.95 grade-point average as a drafting and design major.
A native of Lenexa, Kan., she leads the Jennies and is fourth in the MIAA in hitting percentage at .375. She also paces the team and is eight in the conference in kills with 3.19 per set and is second on the team and fifth in the MIAA in blocks with 0.97 blocks per set.
Fisher is a 2021 First Team All-MIAA selection and was voted to the MIAA Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team.
She was a CoSIDA Academic All-American last season has been named an MIAA Scholar Athlete and MIAA Academic Honor Roll selection every season during her time as a Jenny.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District Award is an academic and athletic-based award. Student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA to be nominated and should be a significant contributor to her team in competition.
As an All-District selection, Fisher is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-American award announced in December.
