EDMOND, Okla. (March 6, 2018) - Central Missouri Jennies Golf wrapped up day two of competition at the Diffee Ford-Lincoln Invite at Kickingbird Golf Club on Tuesday. The Jens improved their day one score by nine strokes with a 38-over par 317 and placed eighth in the team standings. For the Tournament, UCM shot an 85-over par 645.
Olivia Sobaski was the top finisher for the Jens tying for ninth overall in the individual standings. She shot a 10-over par on the second and finished at 16-over par with a 156. She added 10 more pars from her day one total of 12 to finish at 22 overall. Her 22 pars were tied for third most at the tournament.
Jordan Rehkow paced UCM shooting a five-over par 75 on day two. She improved her score from day one by 10 strokes and finished second on the team with a combined score of 160 at 15-over par. She tied for 17th overall. Rehkow also had the second most pars on the team finishing with 16.
Elizabeth Leath improved her day one score by two stokes on day two with a 11-over par 81. She tied for 33rd with a 24-over par 164.
Madison Grisham (+12) shot an 82, improving her score by six strokes to tie for 56th with a 170 final score.
Blake Betke (+20) shot a 90 on day two and tied for 70th with an overall score of 173.
Henderson State held on for the team title after shooting 306 and 316 over the two day span to finish with a 622 at 62-over par. Oklahoma Christian moved up from fourth with a day two score of 314 at 34-over par to place second (628, +68). Northeastern State was third shooting a final score of 636 at 68-over par. Imkeleen Meyer of Newman claimed the individual crown shooting a seven-over par 147. She shot 72 and 75 to claim to the spot.
The Jennies will be back on the course on March 19-20 for the Missouri Western Invite in St. Joseph, Mo. Action gets underway Monday morning at the St. Joseph Country Club.
