WATERLOO, Iowa (April 3, 2016) -- Jennies Golf fired rounds of 350 and 327 to come in third at the Upper Iowa Invitational at Sunnyside Country Club. Teams were only able to complete nine holes on Saturday and played the final 27 holes on Sunday.
Taelyn Entriken shot rounds of 86 and 81 to finish at 23-over par and in a tie for fourth place to pace the Jennies.
Elizabeth Leath was five shots back in a tie for 10th. She had rounds of 90 and 82.
Kelly Welker finished in 12th place after a 174 (90/84).
Jordan Rehkow was one shot back of Welker in a tie for 13th and
Maranda Smith finished 16th after a 177 with rounds of 97 and 80.
Blake Betke played as an individual and finished in a tie for 24th with a 186 after rounds of 101 and 85.
Concordia-St. Paul captured the team title after rounds of 327 and 338. They finished 12 shots better than the Jennies. CSP's Kari Opatz captured individual medalist honors finishing at 14-over par, 158.
The Jennies return to action next Monday and Tuesday, April 11-12, at the Central Region Preview Tournament. The tournament, hosted by Arkansas Tech, is taking place at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
