ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Jennies golf shot a final round 330 to take fifth place at the Missouri Western Invitational. That, combined with their opening round score of 329 gave them a two-round total of 659.
Elizabeth Leath and
Jordan Rehkow finished in a tie for 13th place on the individual scoreboard with a +16, 160. Leath shot an even +8, 80 on both days while Rehkow opened with a +6, 78 first round and finished with a +10, 82 on day two.
Also scoring for the Jennies was
Taelyn Entriken who shot a +26, 170,
Kelly Welker, +31, 175 and
Blake Betke, +33, 177.
Maranda Smith played as an individual and shot a final round +8, 80 on the final round for a total +20, 164 and was the second-place finisher among athletes competing as an individual.
William Woods was the overall team winner with a two round score of 614. The Owl's Celia Mansour and Missouri Western's Shi Quing Ong tied for the individual win with a +4, 148 total score.
