WARRENSBURG, Mo. - Central Missouri track and field National Champion Erika Kinsey competed in the high jump at the 2015 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships Wednesday night.

Competing for her native Sweden, Kinsey cleared her best mark 1.89m (6-2.25) on her first attempt, but did not qualify for the final round on Saturday.

Kinsey won both the indoor and outdoor NCAA National Championships in the event in 2015, helping the Jennies to their first ever track and field championship.

She jumped a personal-best 1.97m (6' 5.5") at the European Athletics Team Championships back in June to qualify for the World Championships.
