The Mules (23-16, 18-10 MIAA) scored three times in the top of the first, giving starting pitcher Ricky Rivera a strong cushion to work with against the Ichabod offense.     With runners on second and third and no outs, a second sacrifice bunt to the pitcher by Maas put the Mules ahead, 6-0 in the top of the fourth.
In the home half of the fourth, the Ichabods' Corey Gragg singled home a run with two outs to make it a 6-1 ballgame. The Ichabods got two more runs in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI double from Connor Crimmins and an RBI single by Gragg.
