Seth Wheeler opened up a 5-0 lead.
Brad Wilson's sacrifice fly in the top of the second plated
Kevin Gratza to make it a 6-0 ballgame. Two of the next four Mules runs came via defensive miscues by the Blue Tigers.

Lincoln made the game interesting in the bottom of the seventh with three runs of its own, but reliever
Zach Davis closed the game out, striking out a pair of Blue Tigers.
