STORY LINES
• The Mules wrap up their short two-game home stand hosting Washburn on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
• The Mules are coming off an 85-65 win over Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday afternoon, while the Ichabods are coming off a 79-69 win at Missouri Western on Saturday.
• This will be the only reguar season meeting between the two schools for the second straight season.
• Central Missouri was the preseason No. 3 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.

QUICK HITS
• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is second all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,596 wins.
• The Mules were 22-8 a season ago, the sixth 20-win season under Kim Anderson and the 22nd in school history.
• Last season was the 10th straight season of at least 18 wins for UCM, the longest active streak in the MIAA. The longest streak in league history is 11 seasons, held by Northwest Missouri from 1997-2008.
• Central Missouri finished 13-5 in MIAA play last year and captured a share of the MIAA regular season championship for the second straight season. It was the fifth conference crown under Anderson and 23rd in school history.
• UCM returns one all-MIAA performer from a season ago. Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.

SERIES HISTORY VS WASHBURN
• This will be the 94th all-time meeting between Central Missouri and Washburn. The Mules currently hold a slim 47-46 advantage.
• The Ichabods beat the Mules 95-78 in Topeka last year in the regular season finale.
• Washburn has won three straight in the series.
• The Mules lead the series 25-14 in games played in Warrensburg, including an 8-2 home mark during the Kim Anderson era.
• UCM is 14-11 against Washburn under Anderson.

LAST MEETING WITH WASHBURN
• The Ichabods beat Central Missouri 95-78 in Topeka in the 2012-13 regular season finale. The win dropped the Mules into a tie for the MIAA regular season title with Fort Hays State.
• Washburn used a 9-0 run midway through the first half to open up a 13-point lead.
• WU led by as many as 20 points in the game.
• Widgett Washington led UCM with 21 points, Charles Hammork had 16 and Lance Beckwith finished with 10 points.
• The Mules shot 41 percent for the game and 31 percent from three-point range, but Washburn shot 50 percent from the field and 54 percent from beyond the arc.
• Will McNeill led Washburn with 40 points as four Ichabods finished in double figures.
• UCM had 12 assists to 10 turnovers compared to 17 assists and just five turnovers for WU.
• Washburn out-rebounded UCM 40-36 in the game.

SCOUTING THE ICHABODS
• Washburn comes into the game at 11-1 overall and 4-1 in MIAA play following a 79-69 win at Missouri Western on Saturday afternoon.
• The Ichabods have won three straight games after dropping their only game of the season at Missouri Southern back on December 7.
• The Ichabods are averaging 84.1 points per game offensively on 48 percent shooting. They've made 40 percent of their three-point attempts and shoot 66 percent at the free throw line.
• Defensively, WU gives up 73.5 points per game and opponents are shooting 41 percent from the field and just 30 percent from beyond the arc.
• The Ichabods are out-rebounding opponents by nearly nine boards per outing (41.4-32.8).
• Kyle Wiggins leads the team in scoring at 15.2 points per game. Alex North is averaging 14.1 points per game and leads the team pulling down 9.3 rebounds per game. Jeff Reid is chipping in 10.3 points per outing.
• Six Washburn players are averaging at least 7.2 points per contest.
• WU is averaging 16.1 assists per game, but they also turn the ball over 13.8 times per outing.

LAST TIME OUT • CENTRAL MISSOURI 85, NEBRASKA-KEARNEY 65 • 1/4/14
WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules used a 26-5 run in the second half to pull away from Nebraska-Kearney for an 85-65 win on Saturday afternoon at the UCM Multipurpose Building. The win improves UCM's record to 11-2 overall and 3-1 in MIAA play.
    The game was a back-and-forth battle in the first half with neither team able to seize control. After a three by UNK (4-6, 2-3 MIAA) to open the game UCM scored six straight to grab the early lead.
    The Mules upped the lead to six at 15-9 on a three from Jon Gilliam with just under 14 minutes to play in the half, but a 7-0 run by the Lopers gave them a 16-15 lead just two minutes later. UCM came back with five straight points of their own to regain the lead.
    Central Missouri pushed the lead to six a couple of different times during the first half, but UNK responded each time. The Mules led 34-28 with 2:35 left in the half following a TJ White tip-in, but UNK closed the opening period on a 9-4 spurt to pull within 38-37 at halftime.
    Nebraska-Kearney grabbed the lead right out of intermission on a three by Tyler Shields, but Dillon Deck's three-point play gave the lead back to UCM and Charles Hammork's driving layup pushed the lead to three with 18:13 to play.
    A pair of free throws from Kevin Dineen cut the UCM lead to one, but back to back jumpers from Hammork pushed the lead back to five at 47-42. Mike Dentlinger's three-point play at the 15:30 mark pulled UNK with a bucket, but that's when the Mules made their run.
    Back-to-back threes by Daylen Robinson, including a four-point play on the second ignited the run that saw the Mules score 26 of the next 31 points to open a 73-50 lead with 8:11 to play in the game. The lead didnt' dip below 19 points the rest of the way as UCM improved to 6-0 at home this season and ran their home court winning streak to 20.
    Robinson led UCM with a game and career-high 26 points. He also had seven assists, four steals and four rebounds. White finished with 15 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Gilliam and Hammork each chipped in 12.
    The Mules were 27 of 56 from the field for 48 percent and made 7 of 16 from behind the three point line for 43 percent. UCM was 24 of 32 at the foul line for 75 percent.
    Central Missouri held a slight edge in rebounding, 34-33, but did force 25 UNK turnovers and had 14 steals.
    Ethan Brozak led the Lopers with 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench, while Shields had 14 points. UNK was 23 of 55 from the floor for 41 percent, including 6 of 16 from beyond the arc for 37 percent. UNK mad 13 of 18 at the charity stripe for 72 percent.

THE MULES IN MIAA PLAY
• Central Missouri is 146-64 in MIAA play during the Kim Anderson era and 3-1 this season after a 85-65 win over Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday afternoon.
• The Mules were 13-5 in conference play last year and won a share of the MIAA regular season title.
• The Mules' best MIAA record under Anderson was an 18-2 mark during the 2009-10 season.
• The Mules have captured five MIAA regular season championships and four MIAA tournament titles under Kim Anderson.

MULES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
• The Mules are 109-28 in non-conference games during the Kim Anderson era after the win over Culver-Stockton on December 16.
