STORY LINES
• The Mules wrap up their short two-game road trip with a Wednesday night game at Lincoln. Tipoff from Jason Gym in Jefferson City is set for 7:30 p.m.
• The Mules are coming off an 80-68 loss at Northwest Missouri on Saturday afternoon at Bearcat Arena.
• The Blue Tigers fell to Missouri Southern 76-63 on Saturday afternoon in Joplin.
• The Mules currently sit in a tie for third place in the MIAA standings, two games behind first place Northwest Missouri and a game and a half back of Missouri Southern.
• UCM is tied with Fort Hays State and Northeastern State in the standings. The Mules hold the tiebreaker over FHSU, but the RiverHawks hold the tiebreaker with UCM.

• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is third all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,599 wins.

• UCM returns one all-MIAA performer from a season ago. Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.

SERIES HISTORY VS LINCOLN
• This will be the 85th all-time meeting between the Mules and the Blue Tigers. Central Missouri leads the series 52-32
• The Mules have won 12 straight games in the series and are 12-0 against Lincoln during the Kim Anderson era.
• UCM leads the series 23-15 in games played in Jefferson City. The Mules are 6-0 at Jason Gym under Anderson and have won eight straight games in Jefferson City.

LAST MEETING WITH LINCOLN
• The Mules shot 49 percent from the field and five players finished in double figures en route to a 93-61 win over the Blue Tigers on Feb. 16, 2013 at the Multipurpose Building.
• The game was tied 2-2 early on, but a 8-1 run gave the Mules the lead for good as they rolled to the 32-point victory.
• Dominique Long led the Mules with 19 points and nine rebounds. Alex Dean recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Widgett Washington had 13 points and six assists, while Lance Beckwith and Ryan Magdziarz both finished with 11 points.
• The Mules shot 50 percent (10 of 20) from three point range and made 17 of 25 free throws for 68 percent.
• The Blue Tigers were led in scoring by Cedric Ridle's 29 points.
• Lincoln shot 31 percent from the field, 21 of 68, and made just 7 of 26 three-point attempts for 27 percent.
• UCM held a 40-20 advantage in points in the paint and the UCM bench out-scored LU's 37-13.

SCOUTING THE BLUE TIGERS
• Lincoln comes into the game at 2-14 overall and 0-8 in MIAA play. The Blue Tigers are on an eight-game losing streak. They are 1-6 at home this season.
• LU dropped a 76-63 decision at Missouri Southern on Saturday afternoon.
• Mike Smith leads four Blue Tigers in double figures at 16.4 points per game. Joshua Buie averages 14.4 per contest, while Clay Crouch and Charles Cole average 11.9 and 10.1 points per outing, respectively.
• Cole leads the team in rebounding at 5.1 boards per game.
• The Blue Tigers average 76.8 points per game and shoot 43 percent from the field, while opponents are averaging 87.6 points per contest on nearly 50 percent shooting.
• LU shoots 34 percent from three-point range and 70 percent at the free throw line. Opponents are shooting 34 percent from beyond the arc.
• The Blue Tigers have been out-rebounded by over six boards per game, 39.9-33.2, this season.
• Lincoln forces 14.5 turnovers per game defensively, but the Blue Tigers are turning it over 14.6 times per outing.

LAST TIME OUT • NORTHWEST MISSOURI 80, CENTRAL MISSOURI 68• 1/18/14
MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules struggled offensively with their worst shooting performance of the season in an 80-68 loss to Northwest Missouri at Bearcat Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Mules shot just 36 percent from the field as they fell to 14-4 overall and 6-3 in MIAA play.
    The Bearcats (13-5, 8-1 MIAA) came out on fire as they built an early lead. Northwest Missouri led by two with 16:00 left in the half when they went on an 11-1 run to open a 20-8 lead with 11:49 left.
    The Mules closed to within eight on a pair of Dillon Deck free throws, but a 9-4 spurt put the Bearcats up 29-16 with 5:35 remaining in the opening stanza.
    The Bearcats pushed the lead to as many as 19 in the first half, leading 38-19 with 2:36 left in the half. UCM battled back and closed to within 12 at 39-27 with just over a minute left in the half. The Mules had a pair of shots near the end of the half to pull within single digits, but as happened throughout the game the Mules couldn't get the shots to fall.
    Central Missouri opened the second half on an 8-2 run to pull within six at 41-35 with 15:46 left in the game, but the Bearcats responded with a three from Zach Schneider to push the lead back to eight.
    Northwest pushed the lead back to a dozen with 11:24 to play in the game before UCM got it back to within nine at 56-47 with 9:12 to play. The Mules got back to within eight, but could get no closer. The Bearcats were able to open up the lead and ice the game at the foul line for the 12 point win.
    UCM shot a season-low 36 percent, 20 of 55, including just 5 of 18 from beyond the arc for 28 percent. The Mules were 23 of 31 at the foul line for 74 percent.
    Daylen Robinson led UCM with 21 points, while Dillon Deck had 14. The Mules had just five assists on the night compared to 10 turnovers.
    The Bearcats shot 24 of 45 from the field for 53 percent and made 50 percent of their three-point attempts, 8 of 16. NWMSU was 24 of 32 at the foul line for 75 percent.
    DeShaun Cooper led five Bearcats in double figures with 16 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. Northwest Missouri had 11 assists on the night, but did commit 14 turnovers.
    The loss snaps Central Missouri's nine-game winning streak in the series.

THE MULES IN MIAA PLAY
• Central Missouri is 149-66 in MIAA play during the Kim Anderson era and 6-3 this season after the 80-68 loss at Northwest Missouri on Saturday.
• The Mules were 13-5 in conference play last year and won a share of the MIAA regular season title.
• The Mules' best MIAA record under Anderson was an 18-2 mark during the 2009-10 season.
