STORY LINES
• The Mules travel to San Antonio, Texas for the St. Mary's Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday. UCM is coming off a thrilling 79-78 win at Quincy on Saturday night.
• St. Mary's is 4-1 on the season and coming off a 74-54 win over St. Thomas last Tuesday night. The Rattlers only loss of the season was to Missouri Southern 61-54 in Las Vegas to open the season.
• Southeastern Oklahoma State is 4-0 on the year and coming off a 65-48 win over Ouachita Baptist on Saturday afternoon.
• This will be the 10th all-time meeting between UCM and St. Mary's. The Mules lead the all-time series 7-2, including a 5-0 mark during the Kim Anderson era.
• This will be the third meeting between the Mules and Southeastern Oklahoma State. UCM leads the all-time series 2-0, including a 1-0 record under Anderson.
• Central Missouri was the preseason No. 3 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.
• The Mules lost nearly 75 percent of their scoring and 77 percent of the rebounding from last year's team. Leading returning scorer and rebounder

QUICK HITS
• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is second all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,589 wins.
• The Mules were 22-8 a season ago, the sixth 20-win season under Kim Anderson and the 22nd in school history.
• Last season was the 10th straight season of at least 18 wins for UCM, the longest active streak in the MIAA. The longest streak in league history is 11 seasons, held by Northwest Missouri from 1997-2008.
• Central Missouri finished 13-5 in MIAA play last year and captured a share of the MIAA regular season championship for the second straight season. It was the fifth conference crown under Anderson and 23rd in school history.
• UCM returns one all-MIAA performer from a season ago.
Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title. Hammork only has one semester of eligibility remaining so he will sit out first semester and rejoin the team in the second semester.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.
SERIES HISTORY VS ST. MARY'S
• This will be the 10th meeting all-time between Central Missouri and St. Mary's. The Mules lead the all-time series 7-2, including a 5-0 mark during the Kim Anderson era.
• Central Missouri has won six straight games in the series.
• The last meeting was an 83-76 UCM win in Las Vegas to open the 2010-11 season. Current graduate assistant Bryce Brunz led the Mules in scoring that day with 17 points. Five Mules finished in double figures.
SERIES HISTORY VS SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE
• This will be the third meeting all-time between Central Missouri and Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Mules lead the all-time series 2-0, including a 1-0 mark under Anderson.
• The Mules captured a 67-54 win over the Savage Storm to win the 2006-07 South Central Regional title in Warrensburg.
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
• St. Mary's enters the Classic at 4-1 overall after a 74-54 win over St. Thomas last Tuesday. STMU's only loss of the season came in the season opener against Missouri Southern, a 61-54 loss in Las Vegas.
• The Rattlers are averaging 67.2 points per game on 43 percent shooting. They give up 59.6 per contest and hold opponents to 38 percent shooting.
• St. Mary's is shooting 35 percent from three point range and 68 percent from the free throw line.
• The Rattlers are out-rebounding opponents by nearly 20 boards per game, 44.8-25.2, but also average five more turnovers per contest, 19.2-14.2.
• Justin Alexander leads STMU in scoring at 10.2 points per game and rebounding at 6.8 per contest. Six players are averaging at least 7.4 points per game.
• Marvin Whitt averages 9.6 points per game and is shooting 41 percent from three point range.
SCOUTING THE SAVAGE STORM
• Southeastern Oklahoma State enters the weekend at 4-0 on the season after a 65-48 win over Ouachita Baptist last Saturday.
• The Savage Storm are averaging 68.2 points per game and giving up 59.5 per contest.
• They are shooting 50 percent from the field and limited opponents to 36 percent shooting. The Savage Storm have hit 33 percent of their three point attempts, while opponents have hit on just 28 percent.
• The Savage Storm are out-rebounding opponents by six boards per game, but have turned the ball over 23 more times. They are averaging 21 turnovers per contest.
• John Balwigaire and Taylor Smaller are both averaging 15.0 points per game. Urald King is averaging a double-double of 14.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per outing.
LAST TIME OUT • CENTRAL MISSOURI 79, QUINCY 78 • 11/23/13
QUINCY, Ill. --
Daylen Robinson hit a jump shot with seven seconds left to lift Central Missouri to a 79-78 win over Quincy on Saturday night at Pepsi Arena. The Hawks had taken a one point lead on a pair of free throws with :30 on the clock.
   The Mules (5-0) jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the early going only to see Quincy (2-4) respond with an 8-2 run to take the lead with 13:06 to play in the half. A 14-4 run by Central Missouri gave the Mules a seven point lead just past the halfway point of the stanza.
   The Hawks closed to within a point with 6:03 to play in the half at 25-24, but a 16-8 spurt for UCM pushed the lead back to nine at 41-32 with 2:18 to play in the half. Quincy responded with a run of their, closing the half scoring eight of the final 11 points to pull within 44-40 at halftime.
   Central Missouri opened the second half on a 7-2 run to push the lead back to nine, but the Hawks came right back with an 8-0 run to pull within a point. The Mules pushed the lead back to seven with six straight points, but Quincy wouldn't quit.
   The Hawks responded with a 10-0 run to regain the lead at 60-57. QU led 63-60 when Central Missouri scored six straight points to go back in front 66-63. Four straight by Quincy made it a 67-66 game, but Robinson's three-pointer put UCM back in front.
   The game was tied at 72-all with 3:20 left in regulation when
Jordan Epps drilled a three-pointer to put UCM in front again at 75-72. Four straight free throws by Quincy gave the Hawks a 76-75 lead with 2:26 to play.
   Robinson connected on a pair of free throws with :40 on the clock to put the Mules in front by one, but Dalton Hoover hit a pair for QU with :30 left to give the Hawks a 78-77 lead. That set up the finish for Robinson.
   He drilled the jumper with :07 ticks left to give UCM the advantage. Quincy had one final chance, but Chris Babbitt's miss was rebounded by
TJ White and the Mules escaped with the win.
   Robinson led four Mules in double figures with a game-high 18 points and nine assists. Epps had 17 points and four assists.
Dillon Deck had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds and White added 12 points to go along with seven rebounds.
   The Mules shot 51 percent from the field, 29 of 57, including 8 of 14 from three point range for 57 percent. UCM was 13 of 23 at the foul line for 57 percent. The Mules out-rebounded Quincy 42-22 and held a 17-6 advantage in second chance points.
   Quincy shot 26 of 51 from the floor for 51 percent, but just 5 of 13 from beyond the arc for 39 percent. The Hawks made 21 of 27 from the charity stripe for 78 percent.
   The Mules had 16 assists compared to 14 for QU, but did turn it over 14 times.
MULES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
• The Mules are 106-27 in non-conference games during the Kim Anderson era after beating Quincy 79-78 on Saturday night in Quincy.
• Central Missouri is 51-1 in the last 52 non-conference games at home.
THE MULES AT HOME
• Central Missouri is 143-21 at the Multipurpose Building under Kim Anderson after beating Baker on Saturday night.
• The Mules were 13-0 at home last season and have won 16 straight games at the Multi dating back to the 2011-12 season.
• Over the last nine years, UCM is 126-11 at home. Over that same time period the Mules are 51-1 against non-conference opponents at home and 75-10 in MIAA play.
