STORY LINES
• The Mules travel to Quincy, Ill on Saturday night, Nov. 23 to take on the Quincy Hawks. Central Missouri is coming off an 87-59 win over Baker on Saturday night.
• Quincy is coming off an 88-58 win over Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday night. The Hawks lost 74-58 at Lindenwood last Saturday.
• This will be the 16th all-time meeting between UCM and Quincy. The Mules lead the all-time series 10-5, including a win in Warrensburg last season.
• Central Missouri was the preseason No. 3 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.

QUICK HITS
• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is second all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,589 wins.
• The Mules were 22-8 a season ago, the sixth 20-win season under Kim Anderson and the 22nd in school history.

Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title. Hammork only has one semester of eligibility remaining so he will sit out first semester and rejoin the team in the second semester.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.
SERIES HISTORY
• This will be the 16th meeting all-time between Central Missouri and Quincy. The Mules lead the series 10-5.
• The series is tied 1-1 in games played during the Kim Anderson era and 4-4 in games played at Quincy.
• The Mules won last season's meeting 77-59 in Warrensburg.
• UCM is 0-1 at Quincy under Anderson, a 76-71 loss back on Nov. 26, 2011.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
• Quincy comes into the game at 2-3 overall after a 88-58 win over Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday night.
• The Hawks lost 74-58 loss at Lindenwood last Saturday afternoon.
• The Hawks beat Robert Morris-Springfield 92-78 last Wednesday for their first win of the season.
• QU is averaging 71.2 points per game, while giving up 68.2 points per contest.
• The Hawks are shooting 46 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range. They are also shooting 80 percent at the free throw line. Opponents are shooting 42 percent against Quincy, 34 percent from beyond the arc. The Hawks have attempted 103 free throws compared to 100 for opponents.
• Quincy has out-rebounded opponents by a slim margin, 33.6-32.2, and have turned the ball over 76 times in five game. The Hawks are averaging 15.2 turnovers per game.
• Chris Babbitt leads the team averaging 15.6 points per game, including a season-high 22 in the win over Robert Morris-Springfield. He also leads the team at 5.4 rebounds per contest.
• Scott Hahn is averaging 9.6 points per outing, while Dalton Hoover averages 6.8 points and 4.8 boards per game.
LAST MEETING VS. QUINCY
• The Mules shot 46 percent from the field and 44 percent from three-point range in beating Quincy 77-59 on November 28, 2012 in Warrensburg.
• The game was tied 12-all, but a 16-2 run by UCM broke the game open and the Mules never led by less than 10 the rest of the way.

Dominique Long, DJ Slifer and
Reggie Stallings each scored 12 points to lead the Mules. The 12 points were a new career-high for Slifer.
• Central Missouri out-rebounded Quincy 39-28 and held a 22-14 advantage in points in the paint.
• The Mules had a then season-high 21 assists compared to 11 turnovers.
• The UCM bench out-scored the QU bench 39-19 in the game.

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules used a big second half to break open a close game and beat Baker 87-59 on Saturday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building. The win improves UCM's record to 4-0 on the season.
   Baker (2-2) jumped out to an early 6-2 less than three minutes into the game. The Mules rallied to tie the game at 10-10, but the Wildcats went back in front by a pair on two Javeion Gray free throws. A layup from
Dillon Deck tied the game at 14 and
TJ White's bucket put UCM in front for the first time at 16-14.
   After Baker tied the game,
Jordan Epps hit to free throws to give UCM the lead and White's layup gave UCM a 20-17 lead with 9:32 left in the half. BU cut the lead back to one, but four quick points by the Mules pushed the lead back to five at 26-21. The lead grew to seven, but a 5-0 Baker run brought it to a two-point game with just over two minutes left in the half. UCM closed the opening stanza on a 7-2 run and led 37-30 at the intermission.
   Central Missouri came out firing in the second half opening the period on a 14-0 run to stretch the lead to 51-30 just over three minutes in. The Mules slowly increased the lead throughout the half stretching it to 24 midway through the stanza. The Wildcats were never able to get closer than 24 the rest of the way.
Ryan Donald hit a pair of free throws with under a minute to play to give the Mules their largest lead of the night at 87-57.
   Central Missouri shot 54 percent in the game, going 31 of 57 from the field, but just 3 of 17 from three point range. The Mules were 22 of 33 at the foul line for 67 percent and out-rebounded the Wildcats 44-22.
   UCM was led in scoring by Donald and Epps with 13 points apiece.
Ryan Magdziarz finished with 11 points and
Daylen Robinson had a game-high seven rebounds to go along with seven points and three assists.
   Baker shot 38 percent from the floor, 19 of 50, including 4 of 10 from beyond the arc for 40 percent. The Wildcats mad 17 of 24 foul shots for 71 percent. BU was led in scoring by Gray and Todd Johnston with 11 points apiece.
   Each team had 11 turnovers, but the Mules had seven blocked shots.
MULES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
• The Mules are 105-27 in non-conference games during the Kim Anderson era after beating Baker 87-59 on Saturday night.
• Central Missouri is 51-1 in the last 52 non-conference games at home.
THE MULES AT HOME
• Central Missouri is 143-21 at the Multipurpose Building under Kim Anderson after beating Baker on Saturday night.
• The Mules were 13-0 at home last season and have won 16 straight games at the Multi dating back to the 2011-12 season.

ANDERSON LEADING THE WAY
• Now in his 12th season leading the Mules, Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson has compiled a career record of 248-90 (.734).
