STORY LINES
• The Mules host Baker University on Saturday night, Nov. 16. Central Missouri is coming off an 87-51 win over Tabor in the home opener on Wednesday night.
• This will be the 21st all-time meeting between UCM and Baker, but the first during the Kim Anderson era and the first since 1993.
• Central Missouri was the preseason No. 3 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.
• The Mules lost nearly 75 percent of their scoring and 77 percent of the rebounding from last year's team. Leading returning scorer and rebounder

QUICK HITS
• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is second all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,588 wins.
• The Mules were 22-8 a season ago, the sixth 20-win season under Kim Anderson and the 22nd in school history.
• Last season was the 10th straight season of at least 18 wins for UCM, the longest active streak in the MIAA. The longest streak in league history is 11 seasons, held by Northwest Missouri from 1997-2008.
• Central Missouri finished 13-5 in MIAA play last year and captured a share of the MIAA regular season championship for the second straight season. It was the fifth conference crown under Anderson and 23rd in school history.
• UCM returns one all-MIAA performer from a season ago.
Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title. Hammork only has one semester of eligibility remaining so he will sit out first semester and rejoin the team in the second semester.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.
SERIES HISTORY
• This will be the 21st meeting between Central Missouri and Baker, but the first since the 1993-94 season-opener. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 12-8.
• The last meeting between the two schools was a 120-75 UCM win in the 1993-94 season-opener at the UCM Multipurpose Building under then head coach Bob Sundvold.
• The teams met 17 times between the 1909-10 and 1934-35 seasons and have met three times since then, all UCM wins in Warrensburg. 1983-84 (86-61), 1986-87 (89-52) and 1993-94 (120-75).
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• Baker comes into the game at 2-2 overall having won two straight games. The Wildcats beat Kansas Wesleyan 83-63 on Tuesday night.
• Baker is averaging 81 points per game offensively and giving up 79.3 per outing.
• EJ Carter leads the team averaging 19.8 points per game. He scored 31 points last week in a 97-92 double overtime loss to St. Mary's (Kan.). Carter also leads the team in rebounding at 9.0 boards per game.
• Jauan Wilson is averaging 10.8 points per contest as well.
• The Wildcats are shooting 42 percent from the field, while opponents are shooting 44 percent. Baker shoots 36 percent from three-point range and holds the opposition to just 29 percent from beyond the arc.
• BU has been out-rebounded by nearly three boards per game this season.
LAST MEETING VS. BAKER
• Central Missouri claimed a 120-75 season-opening win over Baker at the Multipurpose Building to open the 1993-94 season.
• It was the first meeting since an 89-52 UCM win during the 1986-87 season.
• Corey Williams led the Mules that night with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds.

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back en route to an 87-51 win over Tabor on Wednesday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
   The Mules (3-0) scored the first 11 points of the game behind two threes from
Jon Gilliam. The Bluejays (2-2) got on the board with a jumper from Nick Sauer, but UCM rattled off nine of the next 11 points to open up a 20-4 lead not even five minutes into the game.
   Central Missouri pushed the lead to 22 at 31-9 by the 12:02 mark of the half and the rout was on. A bucket by Tabor cut the lead to 31-11, but
Jordan Epps' jumper started a 14-3 run that pushed the lead to 45-14 with 5:13 left in the half. The Bluejays made a short 11-4 run to end the half and the UCM lead was 49-25 at the break.
   The second half got off to a much slower pace than the first with both teams struggling offensively in the early going. A 9-4 spurt by Tabor cut the lead to 53-34 with 15:41 to play in the game, but another three from Gilliam ignited another UCM run.
   The Mules rattled off an 23-2 run to open a 76-36 lead with 7:45 remaining in the second half and they cruised to the 36-point victory in the home opener.
   Central Missouri shot 53 percent for the game, shooting over 50 percent in both halves. UCM was 30 of 57 from the field and 9 of 20 from three point range for 45 percent. The Mules made 18 of 26 foul shots for 69 percent.
   Epps and
Preston Brunz led four Mules in double figures with 14 points each. Gilliam had 12 points on 4 of 5 shooting from beyond the arc and
Ryan Magdziarz added 11 points.
Ryan Donald finished with nine points and a game-high eight rebounds off the bench.
   The Mules had 17 assists and forced Tabor into 24 turnovers leading to 25 UCM points.
   UCM outscored the Bluejays 34-18 in the paint and the Mule bench outscored Tabor's 45-14.
   The Bluejays finished the game 20 of 54 from the field for 37 percent. They made just 5 of 17 three point attempts for 29 percent and they were 6 of 16 from the charity stripe for 38 percent. Lance Carter led Tabor with 16 points, while Robbie Samuel had nine.
MULES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
• The Mules are 104-27 in non-conference games during the Kim Anderson era after beating Tabor 87-51 on Wednesday night.
• Central Missouri is 50-1 in the last 51 non-conference games at home.
THE MULES AT HOME
• Central Missouri is 142-21 at the Multipurpose Building under Kim Anderson after beating Tabor in the home opener on Wednesday night.
• The Mules were 13-0 at home last season and have won 15 straight games at the Multi dating back to the 2011-12 season.

ANDERSON LEADING THE WAY
• Now in his 12th season leading the Mules, Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson has compiled a career record of 247-90 (.733).
• His .731 winning percentage entering the 2013-14 season ranks seventh among all active NCAA Division II coaches.
• He has led UCM to five MIAA regular season titles, more than any other coach in school history, four MIAA tournament championships, two Regional championships and two Final Four appearances.
• Anderson recorded career win No. 200 with a 65-61 win against Washburn on February 9, 2011.
