• The Central Missouri Mules continue their brief season-opening homestand hosting Culver-Stockton on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
• The Mules opened the season with a 67-62 victory over Webster last Saturday.
• The Wildcats come into the game at 3-1 overall after a 103-87 win over Lindenwood University-Belleville on Tuesday night at home.
• Central Missouri enters the season as the No. 2 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls.
• The Mules are receiving votes in the NABC Division II Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Dominique Long was a second team All-MIAA and second team NABC All-District selection after leading the Mules in scoring (12.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.6 rpg) in 2011-12.
Widgett Washington was an honorable mention all-conference honoree after averaging 11.9 points and 4.7 assists per game.
• The Mules return 67 percent of their scoring and 70 percent of their rebounding from last year's 19-8 team that claimed a share of the MIAA championship.
• The Mules were 19-8 a season ago and captured a share of the MIAA regular season championship.
• The 2011-12 season was the ninth straight year that Central Missouri won at least 18 games, the longest active streak in the MIAA. The longest streak in MIAA history is 11 seasons, held by NW Missouri State from 1997-2008.
SERIES HISTORY
• Central Missouri and Culver-Stockton have met one time prior to this year. The Mules won that meeting 39-7 way back in 1920.
• Willard Greim was the head coach of the Mules during the 1920-21 season. He led the Mules to a 22-2 overall record, including 10-0 in MIAA play and an MIAA championship.

• The Mules beat the Wildcats 39-7 during the 1920-21 season.
SCOUTING CULVER-STOCKTON
• The Wildcats are led by former Truman State head coach Jack Schrader, who is in his second season leading the CSC program.
• Culver-Stockton is 3-1 overall on the year after a 103-87 win over Lindenwood University-Belleville on Tuesday night. The Wildcats have won two straight games and are 2-1 on the road this season.
• CSC is led in scoring by Marshawn Norris' 16.3 points per game. There are four Wildcats averaging in double figures.
• In addition to Norris, James Johnson (15.5), Alen Hadzimahovic (14.5) and Austin Keaton (10.8) are also scoring in double figures.
• The Wildcats are averaging 81.5 points per game, while giving up 75.8 per game. They are shooting 43 percent from the field, 39 percent from three point range and 55 percent from the free throw line.
• Culver-Stockton has out-rebounded their first four opponents by a 42.0-36.5 margin.
LAST TIME OUT
• Central Missouri beat Webster 67-62 last Saturday night in the season opener.
• The Mules fell behind by as many as 13 points in the first half, but rallied for the five point win.
• UCM used a 12-0 run to start the second half to grab the lead.

• Central Missouri is receiving votes in the NABC/Division II Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• The Mules received six votes in the poll. Washburn is preseason No. 2 and is the only MIAA team in the top 25.
MULES PICKED SECOND IN MIAA PRESEASON POLLS
• Central Missouri is picked to finish second in the MIAA Preseason Poll by both the league coaches and media.
• The Mules received three first-place votes and tallied 180 points in the coaches' poll, while garnering 243 points in the media poll to come in second.
• MIAA Co-Champion Washburn is the top pick in both polls. The Ichabods received 11 of 15 first-place votes in the coaches' poll and 17 of 18 top nods in the media poll.
ANDERSON LEADING THE WAY
• Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson has compiled a career record of 223-82 (.731) in his 11th season leading the Mules.
• He has led UCM to four MIAA regular season titles, more than any other coach in school history, three MIAA tournament championships, two Regional championships and two Final Four appearances.
• Anderson recorded career win No. 200 with a 65-61 win against Washburn on February 9, 2011.
• Anderson is one of only five coaches in Central Missouri history to record 100 or more career wins - Anderson (223), Tad. C. Reid (178), Earl Keth (159), Jim Wooldridge (131) and Lynn Nance (114).

• 32 UCM student-athletes were named MIAA Scholar Athletes with at least a 3.5 GPA and having earned All-MIAA honors in their respective sport.

• Live video coverage for every Central Missouri home game will be available through America One Sports. All home games and road MIAA games will be available on a pay-per-view basis. The cost is $8 per game, $30 for a 30-day pass or $89.95 for an all-season pass for UCM men's and women's basketball.
UP NEXT
• The Mules travel to Maryville, Mo. next weekend for a pair of key in-region contests. The Mules will play Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Upper Iowa on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Bearcat Classic hosted by Northwest Missouri.
• MIAA play gets underway on Wednesday, December 5 when the Mules travel to Hays, Kan. for a 7:30 p.m. game against Fort Hays State.
