2018-19: (Indoor): Threw a personal best of 61-5.75 in the shot put at the Bearcat invitational(Feb. 9) where he finished in first place…competed and placed at the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the weight throw with a toss of 58-3.25 placing fifth and a shot put throw of 59-6.25 placing first…went on to compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships where he threw the shot put with a mark of 60-6.75 placing fifth overall…(Outdoor): Threw a new personal best and placed first in the discus throw at the Central Methodist Invite(Apr. 6) with a throw of 54.39… Went on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships placing ninth in both the Shot put with a throw of 58-10 and discus throw with a toss of 172-2.

2017-18: (Indoor): Threw a personal-best in the weight throw of 61-9.75 at the UCM Classic, placing third...Competed and placed at the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the shot put with a throw of 59-1.25 placing fourth, and the weight throw with a toss of 61-9.75 placing fifth...Went on to compete at the NCAA Indoor National Championship meet where he threw the shot put with a mark of 55-11.25 placing thirteenth... (Outdoor): Threw big at the MIAA Championship meet throwing personal-bests in both the shot put with a mark of 59-11.25 placing first, a top mark of 168-10 in discus throw placing fourth, as well as a fifth place finish in hammer throw with a mark of 194-8...Went on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor National Championship meet where he competed in the shot put placing twelfth with a throw of 56-10.25, and placing eleventh in the hammer throw with a throw of 193-0.

2016-17: (Indoor): Threw the shot put and scored for UCM at the MIAA Championships by placing eighth with a throw of 51-2.25 … Had a season-best mark of 52-3.25 to provisionally qualify for the National Championships … Also threw the weight and had a season-best mark of 51-1 ... (Outdoor): Broke out at the National Championships in the shot put to earn an All-American award by placing fourth … Entered the meet ranked 16^th in the country an threw 56-11.5 to finish fourth … The mark also puts him fifth all-time in the UCM top-10 … Provisionally qualified for nationals in the discus and hammer throw as well with throws of 166-8 in the discus at his first meet of the season, the ESU Relays, and 181-5 in the hammer throw at the MIAA Championships … Placed sixth in all three throwing events at the conference meet to pick up points for UCM … Threw the shot 54-2 and the discus 157-7 at the meet.

2015-16: Redshirted during the indoor and outdoor seasons, competed unattached.

In High School: Competed for Festus High School … Was an All-Conference and Second Team All-District selection … Also played football.

Personal: Son of Tammy Self … Majoring in Engineering Technology with a certification in Robotics and Automations.
