MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2019, 2020)

2019-20: Finished in 10th place at the conference meet in the 60m hurdles running a season-best 8.52 which was second on UCM ... Set personal-best times in the 60m dash (7.48) and 400m dash (52.60) ... Had the Mules fastest 300m time which he set in his season-opening meet running 37.58 at the Crimson and Gold Invitational ... Earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award with a 4.0 GPA and made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19. 

2018-19:(Indoor): Competed mainly in hurdles for the mules in his season but started out the season setting a personal best in the 400 with a time of 54.11...Set a personal best in the 200m with a time of 23.62... Went on to compete at the MIAA Championships where he had a personal best time in the 60H with a time of  8.46 which helped him finish sixth overall...(Outdoor): Had a strong outing at the Gorilla Classic where he placed fourth overall in the 110h and also placed third in the 400H...Went on to compete in both the 110H and the 400H at the MIAA Championships where he set personal bests in both...Had a time of 15.25 in the 110H and a time of 55.33 in the 400H

In High School: Four-time Academic All-State...Three time All-State Track 300H...All-State Track 110H...State Champion  in the 110H...Four time All-State Track 200 Meter Four year letter winner...Team member of the two-time Track and Field MEC Conference Champions...Team member of the three-time Track and Field District Champions...Also received academic honors in Football...Was a four year letter winner in football...Chillicothe High School Valedictorian.

Personal: Majoring in Biology/Pre-Med...Son of Bill and Janice Shaffer.
