In High School: Sorrells lead Grandview (Mo.) to back-to-back Missouri Class 4 State Championships as a junior and senior...He finished his career at Grandview in the top-five on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,113 points...Sorrells holds the Grandview school record for career three-point field goals made... His senior season, Sorrells averaged 15.7 points, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game on his way to being named Class 4 State Player of the Year by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association...On the grassroots circuit, Sorrells lined up across from some of the top talent in the country in Nike's Elite Youth Basketball League while playing for MoKan Elite.
