• MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23)

2022-23: Started all 28 games for the Mules at point guard... Averaged 8.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 27 minutes per game... Scored a career-high 30 points going 11-16 from the floor including 4-6 from three against Nebraska-Kearney (Feb. 9)... Led the team in assists (85) and steals (40)... Luinstra shot 41.4% from the field including 35.6% from three-point and 81.4% from the free-throw line... Earned the MIAA Academic Honor Roll award. 

2021-22: Did not play due to injury. 

2020-21: Playing in all 22 games while starting 15 averaging 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 23.2 minutes per game...Had a season high 13 points in two contests (Northeastern State & Rogers State) while grabbing 8 rebounds against Lincoln (Nov. 21)...Shot 43.9% from the field and 71.4% from the charity stripe...Given the MIAA Academic Honor Roll award for his performance in the classroom.  

2019-20: Luinstra saw minutes in 27 of the Mules 28 games with four starts...He averaged 4.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game...Shot 38.4% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range...Ranked second on the team with 36 steals...Scored a season-high 17 points in the Mules final game of the year against Pittsburg State...Finished the season with 129 points, 63 rebounds and 33 assists.

Before UCM: Luinstra spent the 2018-19 season as a member of the University of Kansas men's basketball team and appeared in 10 games for the Jayhawks, including the NCAA Tournament win over Northeastern.

In High School:  Luinstra was a prep star at Lawrence Free State High School. As a senior, Luinstra set the school record for points in a single season (456) while leading the Firebirds to the 6A state championship game. Luinstra was honored as a first-team all-state selection and Sunflower League Player of the Year as a senior, averaging 19 points per game.
