• MIAA Academic Award (2020)
2019-20: Ran everything from 60m to 400m, specializing in the 400m ... At the conference meet placed 10th in the 400m running 49.69 which was a season-best and an indoor PR ... At the UCM Mule Relays ran 7.16 for 60m and 23.22 for 200m ... Finished second in the 400m at the UCM Invitational running 51.06 ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2018-19:(Indoor): Ran the 400m at the UCM Mule Relays(Jan. 31) and placed first with a time of 50.29...Went on to compete in the 400m at the MIAA Indoor Championships where he set a new PR of 49.89...(Outdoor): Helped both the 4x100 and 4x200 teams place first at the Emporia State Relays(Mar. 30)...Ran the 400m at the UCM Mule Relays and Set a new PR of 49.40...Went on to compete at the MIAA Championships with the 4x100 team and place fourth overall.
2017-18: (Indoor): Competed in various events, in his first season as a Mule...Came out with a season best in the 60m dash at the Central Missouri Invite where he placed fifth with a time of 6.99...He set another season best at that same meet in the 200m dash placing third with a time of 22.67...He came right back with another personal best at the meet in long jump placing twelfth with a leap of 21-5.5...Ran the 600yd dash at the UCM Classic for the first time where he placed second with a time of 1:14.80...Traveled to the MIAA Indoor Conference Championships where he ran the 400m dash with a time of 50.13...
(Outdoor): Set a personal-best in the 100m dash with a time of 11.46 at the David Suenram Gorilla Classic...Was apart of the 4x100m relay team that took first at the Historic Drake Relays with a time of 41.05...Ran the 400 at the MIAA Outdoor Conference Meet with a time of 50.39...Also ran the 4x100m relay that finished third with a time of 40.83...
In High School: Competed in track and field at Knob Noster High School, lettering all four years … Named All-State in Long Jump three times, once in the 100m, twice in the 200m, and three times in the 400m … Conference champion twice in Long Jump, three times in the 100m, three times in the 200m, and four times in the 400m … Helped the Black Panthers become MRVC Track and Field Conference Champions in 2014 and 2015 … Was also a member of the All-Conference Academic Basketball team in 2017.
Personal: Son of Michael and Lisa Williams … Majoring in Vocal Music Education.
