Jennies Volleyball Picked Sixth in 2026 MIAA Preseason Coaches’ Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Volleyball has been picked sixth in the 2026 MIAA Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll, released by the conference office on Monday, August 24.
 
The Jens received 90 points in sixth, while Nebraska-Kearney and Washburn tied for the top spot with 134 points. Missouri Western (123 points), Emporia State (107 points), and Central Oklahoma (104) round out the top five in the poll. 
 
A season ago, the Central Missouri posted a record of 20-8 overall, including 11-5 in MIAA play, highlighted by six All-MIAA selections for good measure. 
 
The Jens begin the 2026 campaign on Thursday, August 27, as they take on No. 6 Barry Buccaneers at 3:30 p.m. (EST) in the opening match of the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament, inside the Dana Center on the campus of Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
