GREENSBORO, N.C. – University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball starting pitcher Sawyer Allen earned his second All-America honor of the 2026 season on Friday, May 29, as he was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Division II Second Team All-America Team. Allen was also named a D2CCA Second Team All-American on May 28.

He is the 25th ABCA Second Team All-American in program history.

A native of Plate City, Mo., Allen is 8-2 on the mound with a 2.37 ERA in 16 appearances this season. The left-hander has allowed just 23 earned runs on 65 hits with 83 strikeouts and only 24 walks in 87 1/3 innings pitched.

He ranks second in the MIAA in ERA, opposing batting average (.205), and strikeouts, and third in innings pitched.

In the most recent NCAA Division II National Statistics, Allen is third in WHIP (0.96) and sixth in ERA.

Allen was also named to the All-MIAA First Team and the NCBWA, D2CCA, and ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region First Teams earlier this season.

The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees, with only ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections eligible for All-America honors.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
