University of Central Missouri Mules and Jennies Track & Field is set to compete in the MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 1-3 at the new Russ Jewett Outdoor Track & Field Complex on the Pittsburg State University campus in Pittsburg, Kan.
Last season, the Mules were fourth and the Jennies fifth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships in Emporia, Kan.
The meet is slated to begin with the multi-events on Friday, May 1, at noon before continuing on Saturday, May 2, and wrapping up on Sunday, May 3.
The Mules have won an MIAA-best 21 indoor titles since 1953, while the Jennies have captured nine indoor championships since 1983.
