BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field throwers tallied six NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks at the ZK Invitational on Saturday, April 25, at Baker University.
Throws
- The Mules went 1-4 in the men's hammer. Landon Mason won the event with a provisional mark of 60.38m (198-1), while Shon Stark was fourth with a mark of 53.94m (177-0). Mason also competed in the men's discus, placing second with a provisional mark of 52.24m (171-5).
- Marley Sands placed first in the women's discus with a provisional mark of 46.02m (151-0). In addition, Sands competed in the women's javelin, placing third with a provisional mark of 42.60m (139-9).
- The Jennies finished 1-2 in the women's shot put. Madison Mears placed first with a mark of 13.58m (44-6.75), and Briley Wishard was second with a mark of 13.52m (44-4.25). Wishard also had a top 10 showing in the women's hammer, placing fourth with a mark of 45.45m (149-1).
- Karsyn Kanzler, Addison Throckmorton, and Ally Fox all finished in the top five of the women's javelin. Kanzler was runner-up with a provisional mark of 43.02m (141-2), Throckmorton was fourth with a provisional mark of 42.29m (138-9), and Fox was fifth with a mark of 41.64m (136-7).
- Garron Blair placed fifth in the men's javelin with a 50.99m (167-3).
- Isabella Kulenkamp posted a top 10 finish in the women's hammer, placing eighth with a mark of 42.33m (138-11).
UCM Track & Field is scheduled to compete in the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Championships, May 1-3 in Pittsburg, Kan.
