INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball Team is ranked No. 3 in the second NCAA Division II Central Regional Rankings released on Wednesday, April 29, by the NCAA.
The Mules are one of six MIAA baseball programs that appear in the most recent rankings. Pittsburg State (No. 1), Rogers State (No. 2), Northwest Missouri State (No. 5), Missouri Southern (No. 9), and Emporia State (No. 10) are also in the rankings.
The Central Region comprises teams from the MIAA, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the Great American Conference (GAC).
Minnesota State (No. 4), UMary (No. 6), and Augustana [S.D.] (No. 7) represent the NSIC, while Arkansas-Monticello (No. 8) is the lone GAC program in the rankings.
The top eight teams listed in the final rankings released on Sunday, May 10, during the NCAA Division II Baseball Selection Show on NCAA.com will earn a berth to the 2026 NCAA-II Baseball Central Regional Tournament.
No. 24 Mules Baseball is set to host Missouri Southern in a three-game MIAA series April 30-May 2 at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field in Warrensburg, Mo.
