Mules Baseball Appears in First NCAA-II Central Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball Team is one of 10 teams listed in the first NCAA-II Central Regional Rankings released on Wednesday, April 22, by the NCAA. The first rankings are listed in alphabetical order.

The Mules are one of six MIAA baseball programs that appear in the first rankings. Emporia State, Missouri Southern, Northwest Missouri State, Pittsburg State, and Rogers State are also listed in the first rankings.

The Central Region comprises teams from the MIAA, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the Great American Conference (GAC).

Beginning next Wednesday, April 29, the NCAA will rank in order the top 10 teams in the Central Region. The top eight teams listed in the final rankings released on Sunday, May 10, during the NCAA Division II Baseball Selection Show on NCAA.com will earn a berth to the 2026 NCAA-II Baseball Central Regional Tournament. 

No. 22 Mules Baseball is scheduled to travel to Edmond, Okla., for a three-game MIAA series at Central Oklahoma April 24-26.
