Mules Golf Holds Steady at No. 2 in Latest NCAA-II Central Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS – University of Central Missouri Mules Golf remained second in the most recent NCAA Division II Central Regional Rankings released on Friday, April 10, by the NCAA.

UCM is coming off a third-place showing at the Firekeeper Open April 6-7 in Mayetta, Kan., to wrap up its regular season schedule.

The Mules are one of six MIAA men's golf teams appearing in the latest rankings. Central Oklahoma, Washburn, Pittsburg State, Arkansas-Fort Smith, and Missouri Western State University are also ranked.

Following the MIAA Championship April 13-15 in Jefferson City, Mo., the top 10 teams in the final Midwest and Central Regional Rankings, and eight individuals from each region on teams that did not qualify, will advance to the 2026 NCAA-II Midwest/Central Regional May 7-9 at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich.

The teams that finish in the top four of the Midwest/Central Regional, and the two top individuals on teams that don't advance, will qualify for the 2026 NCAA-II Men's Golf Championship, which is slated for May 18-22 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
