WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Central Missouri Jennies softball team's upcoming schedule has been altered.
The MIAA doubleheader between the Jens and Emporia State originally scheduled for Sunday, April 12, during Cancer Awareness Day, will now be played on Wednesday, April 22, with game one's first pitch slated for 2:00 p.m. from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
The non-conference doubleheader between Central Missouri and the William Jewell Cardinals, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, has been postponed, with a makeup date to be announced later.
Thanks to a six-game winning streak, the Jennies (28-12, 11-5 MIAA) have swept back-to-back-to-back MIAA doubleheaders for the first time since the 2021 season, when UCM swept Northwest Missouri (April 6), Emporia State (April 9), and Fort Hays State (April 13).
