University of Central Missouri student-athletes Shelbi Wilson of Jennies Volleyball and Amir Ramos of Mules Track & Field have been selected as the January 2026 Central Bank Student-Athletes of the Month.

Shelbi Wilson, Jr., Jennies Volleyball 
From nominator: "Shelbi is ever attentive in class, always striving to do her best, and is very helpful to her classmates."

Amir Ramos, Fr., Mules Track & Field
From nominator: "Amir is very active on campus-so active that we wonder how he does everything! In addition to track, Amir is in ROTC and recently joined our team at The Honors College. We could not be happier with his work over here. As a house advisor, he is always a delight to both students and staff. He is also active in our student association, helping them with a variety of endeavors. All in all, Amir is a model student, and we are thrilled to have him as part of The Honors College."

• Any current student-athlete in good academic standing is eligible for the award. Criteria for the accolade include academic performance, classroom engagement, and demonstration of commitment to scholarship. Athletic performance is not a determining factor in the process.
