RV Jennies Make it Eight Consecutive Wins with 67-45 Victory at Rogers State Thursday

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Reese Schaaf posted her 13th double-double of the season, and Taylor Weishaar netted 15 points, leading University of Central Missouri Jennies Basketball to a 67-45 win over the Rogers State Hillcats Thursday evening, Feb. 19, inside the Claremore Expo Center.

The Jennies (20-5, 14-2 MIAA), who have now won eight straight games – their longest winning streak since 2023-24, are scheduled to travel to Edmond, Okla., for a MIAA contest at Central Oklahoma (9-16, 4-12 MIAA) on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1:30 p.m. inside Hamilton Field House.

UCM used big first and third quarters to secure the 22-point victory over the Hillcats, outscoring Rogers State (9-16, 6-10 MIAA) in the first quarter, 21-11, and in the third, 22-14.

Schaaf went 8-of-16 from the field, including 2-of-4 from three-point range, and made five out of six free throws for a game-high 23 points and snagged a game-best 14 rebounds to pick up her team and MIAA-best 13th double-double of 2025-26.

Weishaar was 6-of-12 from the floor and 3-of-5 at the free-throw line for her 15 points, and Hayden Heim, Makenzie Farmer, and Rylee Vierthaler each dished out four assists, leading the Jennies in the contest.

For the game, Central Missouri shot 44 percent (25-of-57) from the field and were 8-of-23 from three-point range for 35 percent. UCM made nine out of 13 free throws for 69 percent. The Jennies outrebounded the Hillcats, 42-32, and outscored Rogers State in the paint, 24-18.

Ataya Casaus had 15 points, and Destiny Jones chipped in 12 points, pacing the Hillcats.
