RV Jennies Stomp Bronchos Saturday, 79-44, Upping Winning Streak to Nine Games

EDMOND, Okla. – Hayden Heim netted a career-high 20 points, and Reese Schaaf posted her 14th double-double of the season, leading the University of Central Missouri Jennies Basketball team to a 79-44 victory over the Central Oklahoma Bronchos on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 21, inside Hamilton Field House.

The Jennies (21-5, 15-2 MIAA), who have now won nine straight games and 15 of their last 16 contests, are scheduled to host Missouri Southern (19-7, 13-4 MIAA) on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 5:30 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.

Central Missouri outscored Central Oklahoma in the first quarter, 21-8, and never looked back on its way to the 35-point win.

Heim went 9-of-20 from the field and 1-of-1 at the free-throw line for her career-best 20 points and added eight rebounds and a career-high four blocks, while Schaaf was 5-of-9 from the floor, including a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range, and 4-of-5 at the free-throw line for 17 points and snagged 12 rebounds for her team and MIAA-best 14th double-double of 2025-26. Taylor Weishaar also reached double figures in the game, tallying 14 points, rounding out the UCM leaders.

For the game, the Jennies shot 50 percent from the field (31-of-62) and were 10-of-23 from three-point range for 44 percent. UCM made 7-of-9 free-throw attempts for 78 percent.

The Jennies outrebounded the Bronchos (9-17, 4-13 MIAA), 43-35, and outscored UCO in the paint, 36-24.

Bobbie Fouquet had nine points, pacing Central Oklahoma.
