Reese Schaaf Earns WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches’ All-America Accolades

ATLANTA – University of Central Missouri Jennies Basketball's Reese Schaaf was named to the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Coaches' All-America Team, the organization announced on Wednesday, March 25.

Schaaf becomes the 10th WBCA Coaches' All-American in program history and the sixth under head coach Dave Slifer.

A senior guard/forward from El Dorado Springs, Mo., Schaaf averaged a team-best 19.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in Central Missouri's 33 contests in 2025-26. She shot a team-high 53 percent from the field and went 85 percent at the free-throw line. In addition, Schaaf posted a team and MIAA-high 19 double-doubles on the season and scored in double figures in 31 of Central Missouri's 33 games.

Schaaf capped her two-year career at UCM ranked third in career scoring average (19.1 points per game), tied for third in career rebounding average (9.9 rebounds per game), and fourth in career free-throw percentage (.845). The El Dorado Springs native netted 1,243 points in her 65 games at Central Missouri, which is 24th-highest in program history.

Schaaf was named First Team All-MIAA and D2CCA All-Central Region and was voted to the MIAA Women's Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team. She was a WBCA Honorable Mention Coaches' All-American last season.

Schaaf helped the Jennies post an overall record of 26-7 and a MIAA mark of 17-2 in 2025-26, which led UCM to its 13th MIAA Regular Season Championship in program history.

The WBCA NCAA Division II Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and Coaches' All-America team are selected by the WBCA NCAA Division II Awards Committee from coaches and student-athletes who are nominated by WBCA member coaches.
