WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Athletics announced Tuesday, Sept. 2, that Macie Wallace has been promoted to the new Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving.
Wallace has previously served as the Coordinator of Donor Engagement and Executive Operations for UCM Athletics since 2024.
"We are thrilled to promote Macie to this new role in the department. Her attention to detail, her drive, and her passion for UCM Athletics have been evident to me since I first met her at my job interview over a year ago," UCM Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations Joe Thuente said. "She will do a great job working with our donors and community, and I see big things for her moving forward."
As the assistant athletic director for annual giving, Wallace will oversee the department's fundraising efforts and the Cardinal & Black Fund. She will also help plan and execute fundraising events such as the annual Celebrating Central Missouri Athletics Auction, Mules Baseball First Pitch Banquet, and UCM Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony. She will also work closely with the UCM Alumni Foundation to assist with numerous other fundraising events and projects.
Wallace, who hails from Wentzville, Missouri, is no stranger to the University of Central Missouri and UCM Athletics. In 2024, she graduated from Central Missouri with a bachelor's degree in sports management and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration.
As an undergraduate student, Wallace assisted the Mules Football program with day-to-day and game-day operations and coordinated unofficial and official recruiting visits. In addition, she served as a student ambassador for UCM admissions.
