TULSA, Okla. -- The University of Central Missouri Men's Golf finishes in second place after the final day of the NSU Men's Classic Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Page Belcher Golf Course. The Mules (272, 281) posted a team score of 282 to finish the 54-hole score total of 835 (-17). No. 11 ranked Central Oklahoma won the event at 24-under par.
The Mules were led by junior
CJ Phillips (68, 68) who finished in second place after a final round 18-hole score of 67 (4-under) to bring his 54-hole total to 203 (-10), senior
Nick Fallin (68, 71, 66), finished in a tie for fifth with a total of 8-under par (205).
Freshman
Kale Flinton (67-72-73) who tied for 21st with a total score of 212 (-1).
Next was Redshirt-Senior
Brooks Baldwin (73-70-76) for a total of 219 (+6) to finish in a tie in 66th. Sophomore
Archer Schnieders finished at 85th place (69-76-78) for a total of 223 (+10) to round out the scoring for the Mules.
Jack Hope (68-72-75) who competed, individually, completed his 54-hole total for 215 (+2) to finish with a tie 40th.
UCM heads to St. Joseph, Mo to compete in the Missouri Western Holiday Inn Express Classic on Oct. 6-7 at the St. Joseph Country Club.
