CLEVELAND, Ohio -- University of Central Missouri Athletics finished 14th with 577 points in the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings for the 2025-26 athletic year, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced on Tuesday, June 9.
The 14th-place finish marks the 20th consecutive year the Mules and Jennies have finished in the top 30 of the final standings.
Eleven out of 17 sports made NCAA postseason appearances for UCM Athletics during the 2025-26 athletic year, led by Mules Baseball, which advanced to the NCAA Division II World Series for a third consecutive season and earned the program's 22nd NCAA Division II Regional Championship.

Central Missouri was the third-highest MIAA school in the final rankings, trailing only Washburn (ninth with 671 points) and Pittsburg State (eighth with 673 points). The MIAA conference as a whole led NCAA Division II, with five institutions (Pittsburg State, Washburn, UCM, Nebraska Kearney, and Northwest Missouri State) in the top 25 of the final standings.
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
