"We are excited to bring the coaches' show back on campus to SPIN! Pizza. Walton Stadium is the perfect backdrop, and the move back to the lunch hour gives folks the opportunity to take a break from work and check in with the Mules and Jennies," UCM Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations
Joe Thuente said. "Thank you to Benne Media and KOKO for being great radio partners. A noon radio show is unique, and I applaud our crew for thinking outside the box to give the community a better chance to be involved."
Mules Football Head Coach Josh Lamberson will join Hassler each week to recap the previous week's action and preview the upcoming games. Hassler will also be joined by a rotating cast of UCM coaches and staff, including Jennies Soccer Head Coach Lewis Theobald, Jennies Volleyball Head Coach Caitlin Peterson, and Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics
Matt Howdeshell, as well as current and past Mules and Jennies student-athletes.
"SPIN! Pizza is proud to partner with UCM Athletics in hosting the weekly coaches show. This collaboration will allow the community to support the Mules and Jennies while also enjoying one of our hand-crafted, made-from-scratch pizzas," SPIN! Pizza General Manager Chuck Goodall said.
UCM faculty and staff (with a valid ID) can get a MINI MIA (7-inch pizza served with soup or salad) for $8 every Tuesday.
1450 KOKO AM and its sister station 98.5 FM The BAR, which are part of the Benne Media Group, are the radio homes of the Mules football, Mules and Jennies basketball, and Mules baseball teams.
