BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- No. 20-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf advanced to match play after day three of the NCAA-II Women's Golf Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, Thursday, May 15.
The Jennies (289,295) shot a final round, program-best 18-hole team score of 278 (-10) to finish in seventh place with a 54-hole total of 862 (-2). This marks the first appearance in match play in program history for the Jennies.
The Jennies were led by junior
Mia Rallo (73,72) who tailed a final round 68 (-4) to sit in a tie for 13th with a 54-hole total of 213 (-3). Junior
Libby Green (72,74,69) and sophomore
Maya McVey (71,75,69) both finished in a tie for 25th with a 54-hole total of 215 (-1) .
Senior
Nicole Rallo (73,74) finished in a tie for 43rd with a final round 72 (Even-Par) to finish with a 54-hole total of 219 (+3), and redshirt-junior
Kiki Bruner (77,75,74) finished in a tie for 76th with a 54-hole total of 226 (+10) to round out the Jennies scoring.
The Jennies will compete in match play, which will consist of the top-eight teams from the stroke play portion of the championship on Friday, May 15. UCM will face No. 6-ranked Cal State San Marcos in its first match at 9:40 a.m. CT (7:40 a.m. PT) at Boulder Creek.
