MONKEY ISLAND, Okla.— The Jennies' golf team placed seventh after the third round of the Spring Region Preview. UCM went 35-over, carding a 899 (304, 292, 303). Jennies
Hannah Mottert and
Kiki Bruner placed in the top-10.
Mottert finished just 3-over par to take fourth place, carding a 219 (75, 72, 72) after making par in rounds two and three. Mottert recorded two birdies and went 1-under in the back nine.
Finishing in a 9th-place tie was
Kiki Bruner, who went 3-over par in the final round to tally a 221(76, 70, 75). The senior made a total of nine birdies throughout the Preview.
Libby Green went 225 (77, 72, 76) for 9-over, making three birdies in the third round to finish in a 19th-place tie.
Ansley Giesselmann totaled 230 (76, 78, 76) to finish tied in 43rd.
Addy Davis rounded out the team, finishing in a 70th place tie, going for a 244(79, 85, 80)
Reece Nimmo, who competed individually, finished in 62, going 24-over par 240 (82,81,77).
The Jennies will return to Warrensburg for the MIAA Conference Championships on April 20-22 at Mules National Golf Club.
