EDMOND, Okla. – Central Missouri Jennies softball's
Taylor Thompson earned a 2025 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Second Team selection as a Designated Player, announced Monday, May 12.
The 2025 First Team All-MIAA and NFCA Second Team All-Central Region selection led the Jens with a .378 batting average, 59 hits, 50 RBI, 17 doubles, nine homers, and 103 total bases playing in all 49 games. The sophomore's 18 game hitting streak also paced UCM offensively while recording 15 multi-hit ballgames and 13 games driving in multiple RBI. The Noblesville, Ind. native had a career-high five RBI during a 15-6 victory over Maryville (Feb. 14) while finishing the season with a .660 slugging percentage, becoming the newest member of the 100-hit club doing so during the final game of the regular season against Rockhurst (April 22).
