UCM Track & Field Concludes Action at Kansas Relays Saturday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Central Missouri track & field team concluded competition at the 2025 Kansas Relays presented by RCB Bank Saturday, April 19, at Rock Chalk Park.

Jumps

• The Mules had two top 10 performances in the men's high jump. Wyatt Irwin won the event with a provisional and personal-best mark of 2.11m (6-11) while Zachary Proctor was seventh with a mark of 2.01m (6-07.00). Irwin's mark ties for ninth-best in outdoor school history.

Relays

• The Jennies 4x100m relay of Emily Meeks, Brooklynn Holtman, Marissa Austene and Phebe Thompson placed third with a time of 47.05.
• The Mules 4x400m relay of Saad Guerrour, Isaak Rasche, Yunus Altinay and Rawley Chard posted a time of 3:13.63 to finish fourth.

Sprints/Hurdles

• Meeks posted a time of 56.92 to place seventh in the women's 400m dash final.
• Brayden Blackman finished fourth in the men's 400m hurdles final with a personal-best time of 53.40 while Connor McKee was sixth with a time of 54.06.
• Holtman placed seventh in the women's 200m dash final with a time of 24.29.

The Mules & Jennies return to action April 25-26 at the Louisville Clark Wood Invitational in Louisville, Ky., and April 26 at the Baker University ZK Invitational in Baldwin City, Kan.
