LAWRENCE, Kan. – University of Central Missouri Jennies track & field had three javelin throwers place in the top 10 to highlight the second day of action at the Kansas Relays presented by RCB Bank Friday, April 18, at Rock Chalk Park.
Throws
- The Jennies had three top 10 performers in the women's javelin. Addison Throckmorton was runner-up with a provisional mark of 50.72m (166-5), Karson Kanzler was fourth with a provisional 45.15m (148-1) and Ally Fox was sixth with a provisional 43.43m (142-6).
Jumps
- Myah Morris posted a top 10 finish in the women's triple jump, placing eighth with a mark of 11.68m (38-04.00).
Prelims
- Rawley Chard won the men's 400m dash prelim with a provisional time of 46.72 to qualify for the final.
- The Jennies 4x100m relay of Emily Meeks, Brooklynn Holtman, Mellanie Nellmer and Phebe Thompson posted a time of   46.89 to finish second in the prelims and punch a ticket to Saturday's final.
- Holtman posted a time of 24.49 to finish seventh in the women's 200m dash prelims, earning a spot in Saturday's final.
- The Mules had two finals qualifiers in the men's 400m hurdles. Brayden Blackman finished fourth in the prelims with a time of 53.65 while Connor McKee was fifth with a time of 53.89.
The Mules & Jennies will wrap up competition at the Kansas Relays Saturday, April 19, in Lawrence.
