PITTSBURG and LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Central Missouri track & field team continued its 2025 Outdoor Season at the Pittsburg State Tune-Up meet at Carnie Smith Stadium in Pittsburg, Kan., Thursday, April 17.

Kaira Mannio competed at the Kansas Relays presented by RCB Bank at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan., Thursday.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Parker Wormek placed fifth and Jentry Acklin was seventh in the final of the men's 110m hurdles. Wormek ran a provisional time of 13.96 while Acklin posted a time of 14.99. Earlier in the day in the prelims, Acklin ran a provisional and personal-best time of 14.37, which ranks 10th-fastest in school history.
- Two Mules placed in the top 10 of the men's 200m dash. Ryder Kirby was fifth with a personal best time of 22.08 while Isaak Rasche was eighth with a personal-best time of 22.14.
- Ian Liburd finished seventh in the finals of the men's 100m dash with a personal best time of 10.53, which ties for seventh-fastest in school history.
- Cortney Knutson was ninth in the women's 400m hurdles with a personal best time of 1:07.77.
Distance/Steeplechase
- Clara Lackman finished third in the women's 3,000m steeplechase with a personal best time of 13:02.85.
- The Mules had three top 10 finishers in the men's 1,500m run. Luke Engel was fourth with a time a personal-best time of 4:07.81, Sam Mathis was fifth with a personal-best 4:07.84, Cosmas Kiprop was seventh with a personal-best 4:09.95, and Daniel Kiprono was 10th with a personal-best 4:11.29.
- Evan Finger placed fifth in the men's 800m run with a time of 1:55.23.
Jumps
- The Jennies had three top 10 placers in the women's long jump. Phebe Thompson was third with a personal-best mark of 5.78m (18-11.50) while Kristen Jones was fifth with a personal-best 5.68m (18-07.50) and Marissa Austene was seventh with a mark of 5.66m (18-06.75).
- Alaina Loman posted a top 10 finish in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.20m (10-06.00), placing 10th.
- Jesus Flores and Justin Hamrick both had top 10 finishes in the men's high jump. Flores was fifth with a mark of 1.90m (6-02.75) on his first attempt while Hamrick was eighth with a mark of 1.90m (6-02.75) on his third attempt.
Throws
- Rachael Molloy won the women's hammer throw with a provisional mark of 57.09m (187-4). She also posted a top five performance in the women's discus, placing fourth with a provisional and personal-best throw of 46.56m (152-9), which is eighth-best in school history.
- Landon Mason finished runner-up in the men's discus with a provisional 51.37m (168-6).Â
- Demarcus Kelow posted a top 10 showing in the men's shot put, placing 10th with a mark of 14.73m (48-4). He also finished in the top 10 in the men's hammer throw, finishing seventh with a mark of 52.60m (172-7), and the men's discus, placing seventh with a mark of 50.00m (164-0).Â
- Kristen Jones was seventh in the women's javelin with a mark of 39.62m (130-0).
Relays
Thursday at the Kansas Relays
- Haley Sexton and Kaira Mannio both placed in the top five of the women's pole vault. Sexton was third, clearing a mark of 3.54m (11-07.25), while Mannio was fifth with a mark of 3.39m (11-01.50).
The Mules & Jennies continue action at the Kansas Relays presented by RCB Bank Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, in Lawrence.
